That's because most questionnaires ask for the same core facts, just with a different format on top. The question about the number of employees, turnover, locations or ISO 9001 certificate appears almost verbatim in every cybersecurity form, every customer sustainability list and every bank form. What differs is the packaging: one customer asks for "FTE", another for "number of employees", a third wants it broken down by country. The answer itself — the fact — is the same each time.

Why the same fact appears everywhere

The CSRD (Directive (EU) 2022/2464) and the associated VSME basic module of EFRAG ask for company size and locations as basic data for sustainability reporting. The ten measures of Article 21(2) of the NIS2 Directive (Directive (EU) 2022/2555) in turn ask for other facts, such as whether there is a continuity plan — see also whether there is a plan to continue business operations in the event of a serious disruption — and whether ISO/IEC 27001 Annex A measures have been implemented.
